Our Firm
We realize family law and estate planning decisions are stressful and emotional for many families. For that reason, our team of lawyers provides personalized advice to meet the unique needs of each client.
We take great pride in providing efficient, effective and creative legal representation. While one attorney takes the lead in each case, we use each attorney’s experience as a resource. Our clients receive the benefit of the firm’s collective experience and legal analysis.
At the law firm of Barbara J. Howard Co., L.P.A., we provide a wide range of family law representation — from custody and children’s matters to complex asset division to child and spousal support solutions to estate planning. Our founding attorney, Barbara J. Howard, is a certified specialist in family relations law by the Ohio State Bar Association and a highly skilled litigator. She founded the firm to bring creative and cooperative legal solutions to the Cincinnati area.
In addition to practicing throughout Ohio, our firm also serves the northern Kentucky counties of Campbell, Kenton and Boone.
Our Commitment
Our goal is to understand each client’s unique personal situation and to advise the client of process options, enabling the client to choose the most appropriate course of action. Where possible, we aim to keep each case out of court and in the client’s hands. We have found that collaborative law, as a process option, typically provides the best overall result for our clients, although we are skilled in all processes and will recommend the process best suited to the unique needs of each client.
